I don’t know about you, but I love finishing any kind of project. It always brings a good feeling. In July our intern from the UK successfully completed his internship. He’s now back in the UK fundraising and preparing for further work here in South East Asia. He was our seventh intern. An internship is an easy way into the mission field. It’s not about an experienced missionary getting free labour. It’s about developing the intern into someone who is confident – linguistically and cross-culturally. Our interns learn language, adapt well to our local cultures, complete The Nations Course, attend team meetings, participate in various ministries, help run an Ekballo Challenge, and assist with project work.
